Chris Thomas presents Like-Minded-Souls

 

Chris Thomas is a Soulful Dj and an electronic musician from Yorkshire in the United Kingdom, he has been providing music to the Soul, House, Funk and Jazz, crowd for several years. Chris taught himself how to Dj and to produce music in Cubase then Logic. With a love of creating Dj sets and watching the music touch the souls of his audience with an uplifting Jazzy, Soulful House & Funk music. Chris does the same when creating music “all thing funky and Soulful”. Chris started Djing in clubs in the Leeds and Bradford area and created an underground scene in places like Checkpoint, Time and Place, Gallery and Dig. Then went on to DJ at clubs like Shiftless Shuffle, Blackpool and Southport weekenders, Hooch Club to name a but few & has an lustrous career Djing around Europe. 

 

Chris created Like-Minded-Souls to work with people of a similar mind-set and love of the music as himself. The main motivation is to keep making and playing music for the world. “I do love producing exciting danceable music which will keep people dancing all night”. Chris is the main producer of Like-Minded-Souls & is working with vocalists & musicians all around the world to create Soulful music to fulfil the heart. Like-Minded-Souls main influences is a long list of Jazz, Funk, Soul & House musicians like Art Blakey, Earth Wind & Fire, Shelly Murdock, Stevie Wonder and Master at Work however the list could go on and on. When not Djing/producing Chris is a part time lecture in Music Technology/Dj skills, teaching the next generation of musicians and Djs. “I really enjoy helping and seeing a new generation coming up”.
